The original Hotel du Louvre was built in 1855 by the Emperor Napoleon III for the Universal Exposition and was the first of the Grand Hotels in France. During this time the hotel had 700 rooms and over 1250 members of staff. The restaurant was renowned throughout the world for its excellent cuisine. In 1887 the hotel was moved to the otherside of the Place du Palais Royale where it has stayed until today.
Comprising of 200 rooms all docorated with refinement and taste with en suite bathroom, colour television, mini bar, Hair dryer and a selection of quality bathroom products.
