COMMENT:We were very impressed by the location and standard of this hotel. The public areas are comfortable and light and airy. The bedrooms are very clean and have all the expected facilities. In particular we would draw your attention to the 6 suites. We consider these ideal for the longer stay as they afford all the comforts required, having a separate lounge and WC. The layout of the suite ( see the 3 pictures we took )consists of a good sized entrance hall with storage cupboards, lounge ( approx 13 feet by 10 feet) with television, sofa, minibar, easy chairs and coffee table. The bedroom ( approx 18 feet by 12 feet) offers a working area with halogen lighting and televison. The bathroom is very well fitted with jacuzzi bath, washbasin, well light mirror and hairdryer. There is a separate WC with washbasin. The breakfast room is well laid out and the food which is self service from a buffet includes cereals, croissants, jams, cheeses, eggs, toast, fruit juices and coffee / tea. Directly opposite the hotel is a great bistro open until late every night and with especially good value red wines. The taxi fare from the Eurostar Terminal was only 28 FF and took only 5 or 6 minutes. We walked to Montmartre in under 20 minutes and Galeries Lafayette and the Opera are a similar distance away. Our inspectors were so pleased with this hotel that they extended their stay in the suite by an extra night !!
